Hosting, in most quotes, is a line item for a server: $10, $20, $30 a month, SSL thrown in, backups if you read the fine print. Then the site launches and nothing is “hosting” anymore. A new photo is a ticket. A winter hours change is a ticket. A plugin update is a ticket. The $20 plan becomes a $150 invoice every time the business moves.
That’s the part we got tired of. So the hosting we sell with the $1,100 site is different on purpose.

- Uptime that doesn’t need you watching a dashboard
- Maintenance — the boring, necessary work
- Updates — copy, photos, small design tweaks, a new service on the list
Free maintenance and updates means you email us. We change it. There is no hourly meter for “please swap the hero image” or “the phone number on contact is old.” That’s included because a launched site is a living one, and nickel-and-diming that work is how studios lose people who were happy at launch.
What it is not
It is not a blank check for a redesign every spring. A new brand, a shop, a member area — that’s a project, and we’ll quote it. It is not 24/7 custom development. It is the difference between a site that stays true and a site that fossilizes.

Why this is a traffic issue, not just a kindness
Google does not rank a site that still says “now booking 2024.” Users bounce from a contact page with a disconnected number. A slow host with an expired cert is a closed sign. Maintenance is SEO. Updates are conversion. The businesses that treat hosting as “set and forget” quietly lose the work they paid the site to win.
